Ok I skipped a week, so shoot me. I apologize but i had a lot going on and with Oregon State losing to Oregon, it left little doubt as to who would be #1. With that being said, another week has past and the Pac 10 season is over. What do we know? The best team in the Pac 10 is going to the Rose Bowl, and besides that, everything else is shaking out as it should. In hindsight, Oregon is definitely the #2 team in the Pac 10 and they landed the Holiday Bowl. All is good in the Pac 10 Universe (especially now that UW has a new coach), so let's get to the rankings and see if my rankings jive with their standings within the Pac 10.

1. Southern Cal (11-1)

#5 in the country, #1 in our hearts... especially after being so generous as to give UW their Offensive Coordinator. Viva Pete Carroll. Next up? Rose Bowl vs. Penn State. Prediction? USC 27-10

2. Oregon (9-3)

I had them at #3 a couple weeks ago so the ownness was on them to beat their rival and move up. they did it and now sit at #2. The only thing keeping them from #1 is a 44-10 loss at the hands of our #1 team. Next up? Holiday Bowl vs. Oklahoma State. prediction? Oklahoma State 51-42... sorry Duck fans... just a little too much offense from OSU, and the OSU defense should be able to get just a couple stops, but that might be all they need.

3. California (8-4)

I figure that if the BCS can do it, I can. Let's see... Oregon state beats Cal going away in their head to head match up, but Cal has beaten common opponents more impressively and is playing a tiny bit better down the stretch. therefore, ala Texas getting snubbed, I figure I will put the fourth place team in the third slot. Seriously, despite the Cal/Oregon State game, which was closer than the score would indicate, I think Cal is playing a bit better on both sides of the ball. Next up? Emerald Bowl vs. Miami, Fla. prediction? California 24-20... Miami can't stop the run.

4. Oregon State (8-4)

Ok, so I dropped OSU to number 4, mostly because I was shocked at how exposed their rushing defense was against their rival. Still, moving forward, can Riley get them regrouped in time for a tough Sun Bowl match up? Only time will tell. Next up? Sun Bowl vs. Pittsburgh. Prediction? Oregon State 38-24. Too much Quizz (making up for lost time, I guess), and besides, I still don't think that Wannstedt can coach.

5. Arizona (7-5)

UA was a bit up and down. They were really tough at home but couldn't win on the road. Still, they regrouped in time to save their bowl hopes by taking ASU out to the woodshed and ruining their bowl hopes at the same time. Ya gotta love rivalry games when you can literally rip the heart out of your rival. Next up? Las Vegas Bowl vs. Bringham Young (Bringham Often). Prediction? BYU. 41-24. Hall and Unga salvage a disappointing season by routing another Pac 10 team... this time on a neutral field.

6. Arizona State (5-7)

As you can see by the record, ASU isn't going anywhere, BUT they were clearly improving, until they ran into UA. Next Up? Trip to Senior Froggies at Metro Center. Prediction? Rudy Carpenter gets gang raped in the bathroom after coming on to a couple transvestites. He tried to get away, but unfortunately, as we all have seen, Carpenter can't get away from anyone.

7. Stanford (5-7)

Three straight losses to close the season, coupled with their 41-17 loss to ASU early in the season forced me to drop behind ASU. Next up? Tag football match VS. Stanford cheerleaders. Prediction? Harbaugh will boldly say, "I don't know what the big hoopla is, not only do I think we can play them tough, we can beat them... We're not afraid." Of course, this time, they lose to the cheerleaders 63-7 after he get's kicked in the nards by the cheer captain for coming on to her.

8. UCLA (4-8)

UCLA beat Stanford and since this was my final poll, I thought about jumping them to #7, but at the end of the day, UCLA looked just as pathetic down the stretch as did Stanford, and since UCLA had a worse record, I decided to be economical. Besides, it's not like these guys are going anywhere. Next up? The UCLA AD hides all ballots for March Madness, and gives Coach Neuheisel one-on-one meeting as to what is, and is not allowed as a college coach. Prediction? Coach Neuheisel complies but loses his ass at the track.

9. Washington State (2-10)

Well, they beat Washington. Next up? Beer festival in Colfax. Prediction? Coach Wulff shows up and takes down an entire keg himself before being rushed to the hospital with Alcohol poisoning, proving once again that he is a die-hard Coug.

10. Washington (0-12)

Well, they have a new coach. Next up? UW officials go to court in an effort to adopt three previously abused children. Prediction? They win the adoption case since UW doesn't beat anyone.
