After last week, I decided to be lazy... I just didn't see any surprises so I didn't see the need, but heck, I may as well update this thing before the next weeks games are here. So here's the world according to DM14...
1. Southern Cal (8-1)
USC knocks off the team that is possibly the second best team in the Pac 10, and they do so by allowing just 3 points? This defense is the best in the land and certainly earns them the #1 spot for another week.
2. Arizona (6-3)
Blows out the juggernaut that is Washington State... how could I not keep them at #2.
3. California (6-3)
I decided to keep Cal at #3 for this week because they scared the hell out of USC in their house, and they play Oregon State this week, which should help to open up the rankings a bit.
4. Oregon State (6-3)
Blows out hapless UCLA in Los Angeles. Look for OSU to move up to #3 or even #2 if they hold serve in Corvallis on Saturday.
5. Oregon (7-3)
Oregon beat Stanford so they stay ahead of them in my book.
6. Stanford (5-5)
Stanford played awfully well in Eugene this last weekend. It appears that Stanford is for real and heading towards a bowl game for the first time since 2000.
7. Arizona State (3-6)
Honestly, ASU looked pretty pathetic against the Dawgs, but they still blew them out in the end, which is better than can be said about their Los Angeles counterparts.
8. UCLA (3-6)
To lose AT HOME in a blow out against a team that hasn't played well on the road... well, maybe there is hope for UW to pick themselves up yet... ok, maybe not.
10. Washington (0-9) and Washington State (1-9)
I'm not sure which is worse... for UW to lose at home against a terrible ASU team or for Wazzu to get blown out, nearly allowing 60 TO ANOTHER PAC 10 TEAM. Oh well, this contest for futility will be settled in a week and a half.
