Sorry this is so late... Just got back from vacation and I've been really slammed in my personal life.

So what did we learn this last week? California is very good, as is Oregon, only not so goo in a driving rain storm. USC is very good but no so good that they drop down two spots in the BCS after puttin' up a half a century on the Dawgs. The Dawgs and Cats? they're just awful. With that being said, I will quickly list my teams, with a possible twist or two this week.

1. Southern Cal (7-1)

You just can't drop a team after they outscore a team 56-0, no matter how bad their opponent is. Tell that to the BCS idiots.

2. Arizona (5-3)

Had to keep them at #2 since they beat Cal head to head.

3. California (6-2)

Great effort against Oregon. Would have probably moved them back into the #2 spot if UA had played this week.

4. Oregon State (5-3)

I had to give OSU the nod ahead of Oregon simply because they are currently in FIRST place in the Pac 10 and if the season ended today, they would be playing in the Rose Bowl. I figure, handing USC their only loss of the season still counts for something.

5. Oregon (6-3)

Tough loss against Cal. Oregon still has plenty of time to move up the board and catch a big time bowl game, and running the table against three beatable opponents is a good way to get there.

6. Stanford (5-4)

To beat a team by 58 in the conference, is a great win... no matter who is is against.

7. Arizona State (2-6)

ASU was game playing AT Oregon state last week, nearly pulling off the upset. to me, it was worth moving up a spot.

8. UCLA (3-5)

The Bruins didn't play last week. Where else am I going to list them.

...and finally....

10. Washington Huskies AND Washington State Cougars.

Yeah, yeah, rag on me all you want. I'm not chickening out... just just being a realist. Until these two Pop-Warner teams play each other in a few weeks, there is no way to know who is going to be in the gutter, so until something changes or they play each other, this is where they will stay. fair enough?

By the way... I honestly didn't mean to insult or demean Pop-Warner football leagues with the comparison.
