Well, an interesting week indeed. Another incredibly poor performance by Washington, Washington State finally didn't give up sixty points in a game (of course, they didn't play this week but we shouldn't be picky at this point). UW has fired their head coach...FINALLY, and it looks like one of the highest priority targets for the vacant UW coaching position will be playing us in a few weeks in Berkley.

So what have we learned this week. UW still sucks, only now, they suck with a lame duck head coach. we learned that USC is really very, very good, but then again,so is Arizona (the team they beat in the desert). So too is Cal and Oregon, while Arizona State and UCLA leave a lot to be desired (meaning they'll both only beat Washington by three touchdowns when they play each other later this season).

Anyways, let me apologize in advance for my rankings... I am on vacation with the family and the system has already screw up twice, eliminating my post, so i am just going to list the teams this week. next week will be back to normal. Happy hunting.

1. USC

Still the best.

2. Oregon

Very impressive this week.

3. Arizona

I kept them at #3 because they only lost to USC by a touchdown, and they did beat Cal head-to head.

4. California

Good team with a great performance last week.

5. Oregon State

Still a very good team... especially at home.

6. Stanford

Didn't play, but UCLA was really bad.

7. UCLA

Being destroyed by Cal didn't help.

8. Arizona State

Being destroyed by oregon hurt worse.

9. Washington State

Had a bye week so the jumped ahead of UW... just like UW did a couple weeks back!

10. Washington

What better way to honor our outgoing coach by giving them the honors to go with their on-going golden sombrero.
