Week 9 was the most difficult to date. There were some extremely difficult games to predict, and many of us fell by the way side. Of all twenty, only one person stood above the rest, Coug LJ went 4-1 (missing only on the Washington game). Congratulations on a great week, LJ.
As for the rest of us, only six people went 3-2, eight people went 2-3, and a record five people were an astonishingly bad 1-4 (including myself).

Now, it's on to week 10 and it's going to be another very difficult week to pick in an already incredibly difficult Pac 10.
UCLA @ Arizona
UCLA will be itching to get back on the right track after their demoralizing defeat at the hands of Washington State. It won't get any easier, however, playing in the desert where Arizona is very difficult to beat, and coming off of the shocker in Seattle.
Washington @ Stanford
Washington is still stinging from getting shocked by allowing 23 unanswered points in the final nine minutes last Saturday, and this will be a make it or break it game for UW. A loss against a stubborn Stanford team and not only is the season completely lost for UW, so too, might a lot of jobs for a lot of coaches.
Arizona State (4) @ Oregon (5)
This game is clearly the game of the week IN THE NATION. For ASU, this gives them one final test to show that they belong in the debate for the national Championship, and for Oregon, this test could solidify their position as a favorite to play in the BCS Championship game. This is definitely must-see-TV.
Oregon State @ Southern Cal (19)
USC is now looking at trying to regroup to the point of landing a Holiday Bowl bid. A disappointing season for the trojans, to say the least, it could even get more disappointing should Oregon State bring their A game. The Beavers have shown that they can be tough against anybody, but can they be tough on the road?
Washington State @ California
Like USC, this game is very important for a cal team that has already suffered a couple of losses in conference. If they want to have any hope of playing in the Holiday Bowl, they are going to have to win the rest of the games, and it starts on Saturday against a Washington State team that is at a cross-roads. Can WSU salvage their season into respectability or will they again struggle on the road against a good opponent.
Good Luck!
